cryo treatment cable+plug

Scottish FYNE Audio top speakers use cryogenic low-temperature treatment on their crossovers, which leads to a significant improvement in sound.
At reson, the current and improved version of the LSC speaker cables, which have been tried and tested since 1984, and the uncompromising RB4 speaker plugs are also available as a Kryo version for the highest sound demands.

Cryogenic treatment involves cooling materials to extremely low temperatures to improve their physical properties. For cables and connectors, cryogenic treatment can improve sound quality by changing the molecular structure of the cable's conductors, reducing signal loss and distortion.
On the one hand, the internal material stresses that arise from manufacturing processes such as cable pultrusion can be permanently changed by cooling to -180°C. At these extreme temperatures, the metal parts change their molecular structure, which reduces internal stresses. The molecules bind together more tightly and the overall structure becomes more stable. The low-temperature treatment improves electrical conductivity as well as power and signal transmission.

Whatever the details, the hearing test has empirically given us the only relevant result: if it sounds better, it IS better! Otherwise, the internationally award-winning reson cables and plugs that have been tried and tested for decades already guarantee a very high sound quality.
Have fun with your personal hearing test / sound decision. Let yourself be surprised.
